Starwood Retail is the retail real estate investment division of Starwood Capital Group, a private investment firm with over $60 billion in assets under management across the globe. Starwood Retail’s predecessor, Starwood Retail Partners (SRP), was one of the country’s largest mall acquisition and operating platforms that started in 2012. At its height, SRP acquired, redeveloped, leased, managed and operated more than 28 million square feet of retail space.
